    I really don't think swimming translates well to other athletic abilities. Is Phelps the greatest swimmer ever, by far. Is Phelps one of the better endurance athletes of all time? Yeah, possibly. So he can swim fast and hes got great endurance. Lets see him run, dunk a basketball, hit a baseball, box.

    Lets see Phelps do ANYTHING but swim before we brand him a great athlete. Dude would be a hell of a lifeguard. I'll give him that.

    That makes no sense, Diets. It's the same as saying lets see MJ do ANYTHING besides basketball before calling him great. He sure as hell didn't get it done with baseball.
